I'm Ravin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Fayebird Counseling.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. You may not even know exactly how to explain what you're experiencing—you may simply know that something feels off, you're overwhelmed, your relationships feel harder than they used to, or you're tired of carrying everything on your own.
That's where therapy can begin.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest without worrying about judgment and where we can work together to understand the patterns, experiences, and emotions that are affecting your life. To be honest, I want it to feel like a social hour for you and not as if you are leaving therapy exhausted and drained. Rapport building and humor are essential to my practice.
I work with adults and couples experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and other challenges that can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected.
Helping individuals find their voice and empowering them to be better and stronger each day is what keeps me in this profession. I am strength and solution-focused approach in therapy, and I respond authentically.
I don't believe therapy should be about putting you into a box.
Instead, I draw from evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to your individual needs, personality, experiences, and goals. I am versitile in my modalities based on what you may need. Some of my most frequent uses include:
EMDR
Trauma-informed therapy
Cognitive and behavioral strategies (CBT)
Strengths-based approaches
Relationship-focused work
Reality-focused therapy
Most importantly, we'll figure it out together.
